Meet The Teachers
Miss Elaina
Hi! I’m Miss Elaina — a former K-5 classroom teacher and literacy expert with a Master’s degree in education and more than 10 years of experience helping young learners thrive. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where children feel confident, capable, and excited to learn.
We’re here to spark a lifelong love of reading and empower young minds to thrive. Our program blends fun, engaging activities with personalized tutoring and practical strategies to build strong literacy skills. Whether your child wants to dive into new books, boost their reading comprehension, or receive one-on-one support, we’re here to help every step of the way.
Miss Lilla
Hi! I’m Miss Lilla. I am a fourth grade dual language (English/Spanish) teacher with five years of experience working with bilingual students in all major subject areas. I believe that every student is special and capable of learning by using their strengths to support their growth. My goal is to help your child understand themselves and their strengths in order to inspire a growth mindset surrounding learning. I can provide support with math or with building literacy skills (reading and writing) in Spanish or English.
Miss Victoria
My teaching is rooted in three core principles I developed during my studies at Illinois Wesleyan University: being reflective, responsive, and resourceful. I continually reflect on my teaching and adjust my approach to meet the unique needs of my students. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking academic risks.
I adapt my instruction to meet different learning needs and use a variety of strategies, real-world connections, and engaging resources to make learning meaningful and accessible. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to build their confidence, develop their critical thinking skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
